Så jag har varit tillbaka från julfirandet i Sverige i några dagar nu, och har haft fullt upp hela tiden. Hade det helt underbart och magiskt över Jul, och jag saknar familjen, vännerna och Sverige redan. 

Veckorna i December har varit absolut fantastiska. Både jag & Steve har firat våra födelsedagar riktigt stort. Dock fick jag också en hemsk ögoninfektion under samma tid, som nu är över i alla fall (tack och lov). Jag åkte till Sverige, hade en lång resa med 2 mellanlandningar och förlorade väskan på köpet. En otrolig stressig känsla när man inte vet om man får tillbaka den eller ej, men som tur var så dök den upp igen efter några dagar. 
Det bakades i massor, Vi drack och åt och skrattade hela veckan. Jag hann med en sen födelsedagsfest med vänner och familj, köpte julklappar, pyntade och hade uppesittarkväll. Tack allihopa för en fantastisk vecka!

Kom tillbaka till Lanzarote för några dagar sedan och har då firat jul med min älskade man. Utan att avslöja vad jag har fått - jag har blivit absolut bortskämd till tusen!!
Så imorgon är det nyårsafton - eller tekniskt sett idag. Vart tog detta året vägen?

I've been back from my Christmas holiday in Sweden for a couple of days now and been busy busy all way through.
Had such a great time over Christmas and missing the family, friends and Sweden already. 
It has been some busy couple of weeks. Both me & Steve have had our birthdays with lots of celebrations. I also got a horrible eye infection at the same time, which I'm now without (Thank god). I went to Sweden and had a very long journey with 2 stops on the way. Lost my bag and stressed out with not knowing if I ever would get it back, but finally did at least :).
The Christmas in Sweden was full of celebrations, food, drinks and laughter. 
Had a late birthday party, baking christmas candy, shopping gifts, decorating and rhyming. It was absoluteley a blast! Thanks to everyone that was involved !

Got back to Lanzarote and had a Christmas celebration with my man and it's been perfect! Been absoluteley spoilt rotten all way through. Such a lucky girl.
Tomorrow it's new years eve - or technically today. Can't believe it has gone so quick.

Today is the big Swedish tradition called Lucia :). To get in the Lucia mood i started the day with watching the lucia event on svtplay.se and then Me & Steve went to buy some ginger bread :). 
Later in the evening I was visiting the team at flamingo beach and were watching their Lucia "parade". Was great to get the feeling of being in Sweden :). 
I finished the day off with a gig at the cocktail bar Marea, were me & Andrea were singing lots of christmas songs :). 
So i've really had a blast :).

How did you celebrate Lucia? Any baking? any lussebullar involved? Lucia concerts?

It's the 12th of december.
First of it means that we are halfway to christmas now, and i can't wait ;). 
second of - It's my wonderful big sisters birthday today. I'm absolutely gutted that i can't be there to celebrate her today, but will meet her in a week and that's gonna be amazing :).

Third of, the genius musician and inspiration Frank Sinatra would have turned 100 years today. 

So this day is all to celebrate!!! I'm still unwell tho so have to celebrate with a tea or something, haha :).

So I've had a day off today. How did i spend it? the answer is that I've actually been sleeping all day. In one way that's a big shame because the whole day is gone, but in one way i think that is exactly what i needed to get rid of this flu. 
Already feel better and hope that i will feel like the "normal" Sarah again next week :).

So, tonight i will put a christmas movie on and cuddle up with a cup of tea :).
What's the best christmas movies according to you? 
My favorites must be the Home alone 1 & 2, The national Lampoons, The holiday and Love actually. For those of you that are from Sweden - Isn't Tomten är far till alla barnen just an amazing classic? Love it.

I think it's at least the third year in a row now that I'm turning out really unwell with a massive flu in the end of November/beginning of December. I don't know how to get away from it. Every year it happens. Tons of tissues, nose sprays and vitamins is whats on my agenda, haha. 
Have gone with this now for a week, and as I'm working as a singer it's pretty hard. You can't just call in sick as in other jobs. 
Was sneezing around 10 times on my gig last night. 

So now I will stop moaning, packing my bag with tissues and get ready for the gig tonight. The show must go on :)

It's September.. Where did the time go? The summer passed very quickly. Even tho the summer in Lanzarote is considered to last longer. Here the summer is going strong til October..and then the sunny winter starts.
It's weird to live somewhere where the seasons doesn't exist. It's summer all year long more or less. I know that all of you in Sweden or UK, Germany and Ireland are thinking know that i definetely shouldn't moan about that, and don't worry, i will not. at least not for long ;)
But i can't help but thinking that the thing that i miss about winter is actually mostly the fashion in that time. Just love when the autumn comes and everybody goes out to find the winter jacket and the perfect boots for the season. Maybe you buy those new leather gloves that you love, or why not this new bag that your'e always looking at in the storefront? Or maybe you just hang on with those UGG's one more winter? 
The colors goes more to brown and grey and when you feel sorry for yourself when it's freezing cold? Why not go out and treat yourself in your favorite shop?.

Anyway, September is here, and the thoughts about the winter starts, at least for me. I have visions, dreams and goals that i want to fulfill. Of course i hope that my winter dreams come true and i have the wish of being able to do everything i wanna do. What will happen? Think we have to wait and see. But what i do know, is that it will be an adventure.

So I got this new adidas babies the other day. Perfect for walking or running and I just love the pattern. Can it be more summer? :)
 

First of May and I'm sitting in my parents house in the southest of Sweden and having a inspiration sesh while the rain is pouring down outside. 
This lady is pretty good ;)


Hope you swedes had a great valborg yesterday and didn't got too drunk. I was celebrating with the family myself, gorging away in a three-course meal ;)

Today is a day by the piano.. practise practise practise..

The sun is shining and the spring is really here in Sweden. Love this weather.The air is so fresh and the sun is out til late in the evening. Have missed Sweden..
Is it possible to bring the piano outside? ;)

So the season is finished and everything is packed and done. Last show was amazing and everything ended up with tears. It has been an amazing season with a lot of good memories to take. 
The best thing has absolutely been the great christmasshow that we made. Memories forever! Thank you my lovely team for this months and i really hope to see you soon again and who knows...maybe work together in the future again?

Now I'm back in Sweden for some recovering and planning for what's ahead. It's exciting but of course also a bit nerve. 
I said recover but loads of fun stuff is going on at the moment and I barely have time for rest.But have had some time with family and met my beautiful nephew. 

Lots of things are going on and are around the corner. 
Must say that it is amazing to come home to the beautiful country Sweden and the summer weather that is going on at the moment. Lovely!

So It's saturday and the sun is shining. The weather is back for sure here in Lanzarote and we are heading for summer. 

Today it will be a big carneval held here in Playa blanca and the theme for this year is AFRICA :). The fancy dress party is prepared.  
What I will dress up as? You'll have to wait and see ;).

It is also a big day in Sweden this day. At least for us Eurovision nerds :D.
Today is the big final of Melodifestivalen, the competition for Eurovision song contest. Who will present Sweden? 
I support the great artist Måns Zelmerlöw with his spectacular number and incredible voice. Of course i also support my old school mate Linus Svenning with his song "forever starts today". He's a very very good singer and a great performer. So vote for this guys tonight folks.

Has anyone listened to the songs that already made it to Eurovision? 
I've just heard the song from UK and heard of "the scandal" in Germany. 
I totally need to shape up on this Eurovision knowledge :).

So the last week has been filled with a lot of sun, wine, late nights and games.
Family has been over and it was the best week this year so far. Had a lovely time and did'nt want it to end. The weather turned immediately great all of a sudden when they got here so have finally got some tan :).

Family are back home again but it wont be long til we meet again.
 

So last night was a big night. Valentines/Joakim and Isabels birthday. We celebrated that big style of course. 80s/90s theme and shot roulette, karaoke bingo and much more. Was a great day :).

So it's sunday and it was time for The ratpack show again. Also bamse stars. It's a show where the kids dance on the stage together with all the characters . We rehearse in around 40 min and then they are brave enough to go up on stage and perform. Amazing! Extra interesting tonight when we had kids from 6 different natonailities. Our language skills comes to use haha :).

Day off tomorrow and me & Steve are hoping for sun bathing weather :)

So The valentines day is here again. Take the time to remind yourself about how happy and fortunate you are to have the people around you that you love and adore. 
Me & Steve celebrated yesterday with sunbathing and a lovely dinner at a restaurant called Little Italy and amazing cocktails afterwards. 
Got spoiled with a Swarovski necklace and thousands of kisses. 
Perfect day with my man!

Today a "new week" starts at the hotel and I'm looking forward to do euphoria! The day will end with a birthday/valentines party to celebrate our techie Joakim and one of the reps, Isabel.

So it has been very cold for a long time now in Lanzarote, believe it or not. 
I've got a cold and I just want to be wrapped up in bed til the weather gets better again and I don't have to sneeze all the time. 
Looking forward to sun sessions, sun glasses and shorts. 

Day off tomorrow and it is very needed. Here is a pic from the last day off. Me and Steve were treating ourselves with the lovely waffles from yum yum. Perfection!
 

So it's been 1 year since Steve & I decided to be a couple. This year has gone so fast but it also feels like we have known each other for 10 years. Can proudly say that I've found my soulmate. It maybe sounds cheesy but he makes me happy every day and he treats me like a princess, so I'm actually the luckiest girl in the world. 
So lets celebrate the year that has been and to many many more to come <3

 

Hola!

Have just had a weekend with my friend Therese here on holiday. Therese was working here last year and it was wonderful to finally see her again. And sp amazing to do a show and see her in the audience. Therese was the girl that saw every show last year so it has been very special. 

Now it's a new week ahead and we are gonna get Kevin here, working instead of Natalia that's going on holiday.Gonna be fun , and a lot of work this week. but will miss our lovely Natalia ;). 

Other than that, it has been a day off today and we have had a team dinner. Home now and will cuddle up in bed watching the new ¨beck¨- movie whilst waiting for my love to finish work :)

So as you've noticed, the blog has been down for a while. Have been working 24/7 around christmas and new years. Now 1 week in 2015 I'm ready again for new challenges and to work even harder. 

In december we made our own christmas show that we were performing 3 times. It went so good and we have got so many great comments from it. It took a lot of work to do it but it was definitely worth it :) 
On new years we were working for around 4 hours to make a special night for the guests. 
It has been fun, but now - back to business, and the normal schedule. 

Working with a lot of exciting stuff at the moment. You will find out soon :)
